hey!
I am a UX designer based in Dallas, Texas. I have a background in communications and art. These two things combined have allowed me to seamlessly transition into a UX designer. I use my talent in aesthetic design with seamless communication to create interfaces that are pleasing to the eye and mind.
UX: Technology Psychology
I was born in the backseat of a 1986 Toyota. It had a tape player and a spot where you had to insert a key to turn on the engine. I watched VHS tapes as a kid and used disposable cameras. Now I turn my car on by pushing a button, binge watch content on streaming platforms, and own a DSLR. During the last eleven years I have gone from Myspace to Meta. Through this rapid change in technology, I have paid attention to patterns and the way the people around me interact with interfaces ranging from car dashboards to smart phones.
People have become conditioned to expect certain things from the platforms they use. For example, we expect search bars to be located in the upper-right hand corner of a web page. Certain features have become second nature to people, and it is painfully obvious when these expectations are not met.

That's where I come in. As a UX designer, it is my job to recognize the way our brains interact with interfaces. My goal is to create technology that seamlessly meshes with intuition. I enjoy solving problems by creating something innovative yet familiar so that users don't have to experience growing pains with every software update.
